Demetric Brown aka "E-dro, born and raised in Washington DC, describes his music as 'reality influenced by rap'. Rapping since he was nine years old, E-dro was influenced by such acts as N.W.A, Run DMC and LL Cool J. In October 2005 E-dro joined Vantage Media Records, signed his deal in January 2006 and began recording his new album "Er Day Hussle".

An online encyclopedia with the blatantly partisan name "Conservapedia" has appeared on the internet in an effort to restore encyclopedic balance. The founder is a guy named Andy Schlafly. He's out to rectify what he describes as Wikipedia's "liberal bias".

Yahoo! have been in talks with Facebook for over a year now and apparently recently got shy at Facebook’s $1 billion asking price but as I will explain here Yahoo! have missed out on an absolute bargain.

Carrying the infamous nickname of The Villain, MC Ren is known for his qualities as a lyricist. Along with Ice Cube, the talented rapper wrote most of NWA s lyrics. The overwhelming success of Straight Outta Compton propelled NWA to the top. Controversy and acclaim followed.

From Liverpool to lattes: Sir Paul McCartney has become the first artist to sign with Starbucks' new record label, Hear Music. Chairman Howard Schultz announced the news March 21 at the coffee company's annual meeting in Seattle, Washington.
One of the most popular bands of the 1980's has decided to reunite for a tour this spring and summer with many dates in North America and Europe selling out in minutes. It is expected that this will be the highest grossing tour of 2007 and cynics feel that the only reason past animosities have been set aside by band members is the huge piles of cash beckoning. The question is - what songs will they select for their tour setlists?

Speaking of NWA, most people have Dr Dre, Ice Cube and Compton legend Eazy E in mind. Less spoken about, but nevertheless a capital element of the world’s most dangerous group, DJ Yella gave NWA its spicy reggae-rap flavor. Né Antoine Carraby, DJ Yella was born on December the 11th, 1967 in Compton, California. Man of many hats, DJ Yella has worked as a DJ, a producer and as a porno film director.

During the mid 90s, along with other Californian bands like Rancid and The Offspring, Green Day revived the popularity of the punk rock scene in the United States. The success of Green Day and other punk rock bands have influenced the new generation of punk rock bands like Good Charlotte and Sum41.
